The Wild Atlantic Way is a signposted sightseeing route starting at the northern tip of Ireland in Co Donegal following 1,500 miles of Atlantic coastline through to the picturesque port town of Kinsale in Co Cork. This journey shows how the Atlantic Ocean has shaped and carved the dramatic and spectacular landscape of the West Coast of Ireland and how it has impacted on the economy and characteristics of the community. The route covers some well known scenic locations such as Galway Bay, Connemara and the bleak limestone region of the Burren but provides opportunities to discover rural communities, island hop, walk, surf, enjoy music in pubs and get to the essence of Ireland and her people. You can experience a wide range of accommodation from traditional B & B to luxury Hotel.
